BERGAMA
Bergama is the most famous ancient carpet weaving center. Pure wool carpets of the region still have the traditional designs of centuries. Geometric patterns, dominating red color and limited standard sizes are features of   Bergama carpets which are normally in the ceyrek and secede (prayer rug) sizes, rarely larger. Bergama is the still main trading center for numerous nearby villages and settlements in the area. There are nearly eighty rug weaving communities in the region. Bergama rugs of Bergama include the 'Kiz Bergama' apparently bridal rugs made by young girls for their wedding.

YAGCI BEDIR
The pure wool Yagci Bedir carpets, produced in the mountain villages of the Sindirgi region in the Aegean , are some of the best quality of their kind. Carpet weaving is an important economical factor in the lives of inhabitants this region.Geometric designs, stylized birds and floors, stars are most typical patterns on the Yagci Bedir Rugs. The warp, weft, and knots of the carpets are made of pure lamp's wool  of high quality. The short clipped and densely knotted knots cause the pattern to be easily seen on the pile. This beautiful West Anatolian carpet is always woven in its unchanging colors and patterns.

KULA
Kula is located on the road from Izmir to Usak. Although the rugs made there resembles the rugs of Gordes, Kula has developed its own style by the vertical arrangements of the motifs. Kula weavers also created carpets with very dark ground known as Komurcu Kula. Due to their quality, Kula rugs have became one of the most desired carpets in foreign countries in last 150 years. Present day weavers of this town not only reproduce the splendid Kulas of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries but also weave authentically Anatolian designs with soft pastel colors.

MILAS
The Milas (Melas) carpet with its pastel colors and fine compositions has an important place in Anatolian carpet production. The warp, weft and knots of Milas rugs are pure wool. The dominant colors are tobacco color, dark and light brown, and reddish brown. Contemporary Milas carpets are made in pale, delicate tones produced with vegetal dyes. Milas Rugs can be examined in four distinct types: the praying rugs with a lozenge shaped arch, Medallion Milas, the antique Milas woven in bright colors and Ada Milas with its restrained design.
